There were never any "good old days" — they are today, they are tomorrow
365 days later... 180 degrees different?

Today is one year to the day since my foot injury.

So much has changed in the past year, from the mundane daily routine when I get up in the morning to I think I've figured out what I want to do when I grow up. I'm going to take Monday off so the monkey and I can spend the day hanging out (hopefully in the sun) reflecting on what's different and where we think we're heading now.

Right now, I'm wondering if it would be appropriate to commemorate the day by getting lunch at the place I was headed to when the bookcase landed on my foot. I'd be sure to take the long way around any construction or furniture movers...

Happy Injurversery! And believe me, it has been a joy this year, (well, I mean, NOT joy about the pain and hard times, blah blah...) to see you figure things out... wow! I love you and love that this process has turned out well; go you!

What dirtwitch said.

It really is amazing and inspirational to see all the positives you've put in motion this year. You are fabulous, and I can't wait to congratulate you in person some day.

(That sounds dirty for some reason.)
