I lucked out and got a bag of sweet potato pieces off the "scratch & dent"/discount produce shelf at the Berkeley Bowl over the weekend and have been loving them roasted with coconut oil and Penzey's garam masala. There's a batch in the oven now that smells sooo good.
Gotta find more to do with garam masala. Yum.
Oh, and: garam masala sweet potatoes + garlicky lemony tahini dressing = BRILLIANT
